The Nun (R) starring Taissa Farmiga, Demian Bichir, Jonas Bloquet: Mystery/Thriller film

A young nun in Romania commits suicide and a priest is sent by the Vatican, to investigate her death. The priest is joined by another young woman on the verge of becoming a nun herself. They are sent to an abbey in London where the death had occurred, unaware to them the evil presence that lives there.

This film was “Nun-thing” to brag about, pun intended, as a fan of the Conjuring films, I had great expectations for this film and was rather disappointed. I had expected this film to contain a much better backstory on the creepy nun that I’ve seen in previous films. For such a terrifying character I was expecting a great scary horror film but instead, it was just an okay film with a few creepy scenes.
