As an adult, Laura Croft goes in search of her adventurer father who went missing several years before. Laura with the help of a boatman named Lu Ren begins a quest to solve the mystery behind her father’s disappearance and of the mysterious island he had been researching. The treacherous journey may lead Laura to her father and a new discovery.

I enjoyed this film more than its predecessor “Laura Croft: Tomb Raider” back in 2001. Alicia Vikander was superb in her role as the kick-ass, independent Laura Croft.  This film had more intense adventure scenes and its characters were much more believable. It was action packed and kept its’ audiences intrigued.
