Annihilation (R) starring Natalie Portman, Oscar Issac, Gina Rodriguez, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Tessa Thompson. Thriller/Fantasy

A group of military scientists, enter into “The Shimmer” a mysterious zone that has been mutating landscapes and its inhabitants. The scientists hope to uncover the culprit of this mysterious shimmer and the disappearance of all of whom have entered but never returned. 

This was truly a unique and fascinating film filled with suspense and “WTH” moments. Also, Natalie Portman was superb in this film. The film had some rather beautiful scenes mixed in with some pretty  horrific ones,  creating a good fantasy/thriller film. I think that horrorfans would find this films creepines and bloody scifi nature quite fascinating. 

I really liked this film for its great creativity and suspense.
