Venom (PG13) starring Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed: Thriller/Science Fiction

While investigating Carlton Drake,  journalist Eddie Brock enters Drakes lab and encounters one of his alien experiments.  Eddie unwillingly merges with it and begins having superhuman strength. While Eddie is trying to figure out how to cope with this invader, he is hunted by Drake who wants it back, but the fate of the world may depend on the alien invader and its host.

This film starts out a bit slow at first while we learn the backstory, but then jumpstarts and becomes a kick-ass film filled with action. The fighting scenes are outrageous and the chase scenes are excellent.
