“Alien Covenant” (R) starring Micheal Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billie Crudup, Danny McBride. Science Fiction/Thriller

The crew of the colony ship Covenant led by Captain Oram (BillyCrudup) decides to venture off course onto an uncharted planet, unaware of what danger it holds.  After their arrival, they discover a “synthetic” named David (Micheal Fassbender) and soon realize that the planet is not the safe place they had hoped it would be.  Some members of the crew contract a mysterious illness that leads to a deadly scenario. The Covenant crew must find a way to successfully escape this planet before they are all wiped out.

This movie had some suspenseful scenes and the acting was rather good. I enjoyed the film despite its somewhat predictable storyline. Some of the alien creatures scenes were awesome. 

I give this movie a “thumbs up”
