Seven kids in the town of Derry come into contact with an evil clown named Pennywise and their worst fears come to life. They soon discover that this shape-shifting evil emerges from the sewer every 27 years to prey on the town’s children. In order to defend themselves from Pennywise the children will need to overcome their fears and band together to fight it.
I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed this version of the film better than the original television version. Bill Skarsgard gave an excellent performance as the sinister “Pennywise” character. This movie had some creepy scenes, was suspenseful and was well acted.
