Jake Chambers (Tom Taylor) is caught in between Gunslinger (Idris Elba) and Walter O’Dim (Matthew Mc Conaughey) fight. The fight is for the fate of the Dark Tower which holds the universe together. It is a fight between good and evil.
This movie had very likable characters along with an interesting and unpredictable storyline. Idris Elba did an excellent job portraying the Gunslinger-Roland Deschain and Mathew Mc Conaughey did not disappoint with his performance of the evil Walter Padick-The Man in Black.

This is the first positive review of the movie that I’ve read. I am Danish so therefore I feel sorry for its director Nikolaj Arcel for the 99 percent bad reviews. Did you see his movie A Royal Affair with Alicia Vikander and Madsen Mikkelsen? GOLD! Well, usually Stephen King movies are badly adapted into movies for some reason with Misery, The Green Mile and Shawshank Redemption the exceptions. Oh, and the tv series Needful Things.
