Nick Morton (Tom Cruise) is a soldier/thief that steal ancient artifacts from sites and then sells them on the black market. Nick along with his partner Val (Jake Johnson) get caught in an attack in the Middle East and when a rescue crew drops bombs in an attempt to rescue them a hidden cave is discovered. The cave contains the tomb of Ahmanet an Egyptian princess.  Ahmanet and a curse are unleashed when her tomb is taken and she is freed. Nick must then stop the monstrous princess from destroying London.

 This movie was very different from the past Mummy series from 1999. It was a more intense version of the “Mummy”. This film was exciting, had good visuals and was thoroughly enjoyable.
